@VrntPerception Interesting take! I feel like @Michael_ReedSEA would have some sharp insights on this too—he’s always breaking down global trade imbalances. #3 does seem the most plausible, but it’s gonna be messy either way.

@VrntPerception 😂 Chinese people aren’t going to buy worthless trinkets & stick half of them in a storage unit. Go over there and see how the avg Chinese person lives. Very minimal things in their apartments. Also prices are sky high and the ones I knew would come to US with a empty suitcase

@VrntPerception Some people in both countries see the problem and try to make their country like the other country. But I don't think this has become a social consensus in either country. Things will continue to get worse before they get better.
