Not saying Gray is perfect by any means and obviously we all would prefer Porro to start but seems like you're way too nitpicking a single moment of a game? You could do this to literally any player.

@SB8308715342770 What you’ve done is highlighted why he’s not the level needed The best players react quicker, anticipate, & have better technical precision He’s got none out of 3

I actually really like you kid, but sometimes keep it simple... Gray is shit. He delays passes because he isn't cut out at that level. He is scared to make a simple pass because he doesn't want to lose it. Success to him is to make the pass into feet, he is a stats boy.

Yeah he's way too slow and safe and never looks up

Obviously I bow to your expert in game analysis but I was sat in line with the Everton defence for our dominant 1st half, I smiled throughout, but it was just as much Savio not making those Runs or showing for the ball than Gray not delivering.

He does have a tendency to play too slow generally, I think part of this is because he is trying to play the way he is being asked & thinking too much about it instead of playing more instinctively. It's definitely something he has to improve rather than go through the motions.

I'm seriously baffled. How in the world are we not utilizing a back 3 for once? It would give Porro and Udogie such a break and saves us the agonizing pain of seeing players playing OOP...😑😑😑

The insane part about this video is that this is a central midfielder struggling when to release the ball😭

You're doing this while De Zerbi's using crayons and finger-painting.

This isn’t just an Archie Gray problem; I’ve seen it with a lot of the team. They aren’t at the telepathic wavelength of playing RDZ’s way and doing it quickly. There’s always a 2nd touch, a delay on the pass, when if the ball was played a heartbeat earlier, the receiver is free.

If Archie Gray was American he’d be the most ridiculed player in the league. He is not good, especially at RB.

He’s not the only player to pass up opportunities to slide players in. Gallagher missed one to Robertson just after we scored. And there are examples all over the pitch. We seem to be looking for the ball out wide all the time. Need players to be braver.
