We sent them $78B just this past fiscal year. We are funding the salaries and pensions of Ukrainian bureaucrats. Whether it is goods, arms or cash, it is still money from our treasury to their country. $200B is a legitimate round up and you need to be ratioed for this post.

But it's not $200 billion that we have no idea where it went. Much of it is US goods that are made in the US, giving more Americans jobs.

There has been over $113 billion worth of aid sent to Ukraine. That's only what we know about, there could be more. The fact is we should not continue to provide aid to Ukraine. The war is over, neither side has gained any ground in months.

Ed's point is correct. Vivek said, "We have no idea how Ukraine has spent $200 billion of our money." Ukraine has not received $200 billion of our money. He lied. Period.

Whether it's 200 billion or 75 billion, it doesn't matter. Whether it's tangible cash or goods/services, it doesn't matter. It is not in the interest of the United States of America to support a foreign conflict.

He also said he received signals from Putin that Russia is ready for peace - "wouldn't that be beautiful?" He did not mention the freeze of military aid to Ukraine. At 4am this morning the EU voted to provide a €90 billion aid package to Ukraine. This is a significant step forward to ensure Ukraine is NOT forced to capitulate to an indicted war criminal and a US president who is complicit in attempts to see an ally nation handed to Russia. While I believe that they SHOULD have used Russian frozen assets to fund this loan, that option while left on the table for future use was not used. There is now an opportunity for Europe to really step up and help bring this war to an end to secure a just and lasting peace without Ukraine being extorted by Trump for its energy and rare earth resources. I believe this is the first step in the separation of Europe from the US in terms of the military partnership. The intention now is to invest in European arms manufacturing as the plug is being pulled of the procurement of US military hardware. I only remember this guy because Destiny absolutely destroyed him in a debate. Anyway, the US has sent around $85B in aid to Ukraine since 2022. Russia’s annual military budget is about $150B. By that measure, Ukraine has done extremely well.

ALSO being sent is $750 million in “humanitarian” aid, to go toward “food assistance, heath & hygiene care, and emergency shelter.” Here’s a thriving Kyiv grocery store a month ago.
