IF YOU HAD TOLD ME AT ANY POINT IN MY LIFE I would sit through 2 minutes of somebody shearing a sheep I would have punched in the face and had a good laugh on the walk back home. I don't know what's happening to me am I getting old? For some reason I couldn't stop watching.

For years, British sheep farmers have relied on seasonal migrant workers for the shearing of their livestock. Up until last year, when a special visa was introduced, shearers could come to the UK on a visa-free system. However, the government has decided to end the visa scheme, saying that Brits should be trained in the specialty instead, leaving farmers concerned they will have nobody to shear their sheep next summer.
