Yesterday, I met with folks at UnitedAgainstPoverty who are worried about how the shutdown will impact them. The Trump Administration must comply with the courts and release SNAP funds to ensure families in Central FL and across the country can feed their families.

Across our state, food banks and pantries have been hard at work preparing for an increase in need as the Democrat-led federal government shutdown continues. Claudia and I encourage all Missourians who are able to support their local food banks as they prepare to help families and seniors who rely on SNAP benefits to put food on their tables. Every act of generosity makes a difference.
