The Proportional Editing tool is super useful for creating overlapping cables and wires - especially when using the 'Connected Only' Toggle. It's a really good method to create coil springs where the ends compress together but the mid-section has a lot of space.

Wow didn't know for the connected only, so so useful !

I swear you have the BEST tips! I consider myself to be relatively well-versed with my one true love Blender, but I keep learning new things from you all the time 😂

I appreciate that! A lot my tips i've discovered by accident haha

So true... with the accent on

I always wondered how I could do that, thanks pilgrim!

I needed this information last week :d

I love these tips, I would appreciate if you keep them coming.

Amazing! This is awesome! How cool! I can't believe my eyes! 🌟 #cool

Sigh, proportional editing is useful to a point but needs an overhaul in Blender. Doesn't respect selections and being screen based is fairly useless in a lot of situations.

Why so much geometry for cables??
