The psychiatric industry has turned every negative human emotion and behavior into a disease. I'm going to keep talking about this problem, no matter how mad the outrage mob gets.

If they can call it a “disease”, they can “treat” it. Treatment is big business. Pills, patches, injections… cha-ching 💰

Hmm not sure what you mean by the "psychiatric industry" but as a psychiatrist I will tell you that many patients/parents become irritated when I explain that I don't think they have a disorder or diagnosis and suggest talk therapy for working out a difficult period in their life and/or development. I have had parents fire me, and threaten to report me for not prescribing a medication they decided their children need. For sure we have problems with the pharmaceutical industry and direct to consumer advertising but there is a cultural problem afoot as well.

@USA_Think_Free We wonder why there are problems? * chemical laced foods * 74 vaccines by age 10 * gender transition movement & other * parents kept uninformed What could go wrong?

I honestly think the Covid lockdowns have caused mental instability to skyrocket. I also honestly believe that the psych industry has become an arm of big pharma. Just sad.

I started the Radically Genuine Podcast in 2021 to address these very concerns. I applaud the message and am grateful for your willingness to have the discussion. I am a clinical psychologist and share your concerns as I continue to witness the deterioration of our culture and how the mental health cult has captured generation Z

People used to have personalities. Now they have syndromes and disorders. I guess pharmaceutical companies can't make money off of "grumpy".

That’s not true though. Therapy helps people understand how to process emotions. It’s not all about meds.

Yet they reclassified gender dysphoria in the DSM-V. It's not science when it's driven by politics and special interest.

[Talking about self-worth and insecurities] 👨🏻‍🚀: I want everyone who has ever felt like they weren't pretty, they weren't attractive, they weren't good looking, they weren't strong enough, they had insecurities, or that they might feel like they're exploding from overthinking. And I'm not talking about one of these six, i'm talking about all of them. If you have ever had a situation where felt all six of these, I want you guys to type 1 into the chat. 👨🏻‍🚀: So, the point of that experiment wasn't to invalidate what you're feeling, because you're valid for feeling that. I think that is a common human emotion that we all have a problem we're dealing with. Our insecurities are the things that make us lash out, make us feel like we're not enough. And the thing about it, is no matter how rich you are, no matter how handsome you are, no matter how pretty you are, no matter how strong you are, no matter how great you are, no matter how intelligent you are, no matter how competent you are, there's always gonna be moments where this comes to you and I think the best thing to think in this situation is that yes i'm feeling this things, to validate yourself. You're not wrong for feeling this way. There's nothing wrong with you. Everyone feels this. 👨🏻‍🚀: But, during those times, i think it is very important to remember the moments in your life where you did feel worthy. Where you felt like you were just enough for that one person that you're talking to. Or you felt like you aced in a certain exam or you did really well in one thing. I think you remember those moments and then you push on for more of those moments so that eventually, in your life, you stop thinking about things that- or situation that made you think you're not worthy and start pondering more , recycling more of things that made you feel worthy. yunamseng?
