Today is Kayoko's birthday! She does not talk much, and she tends to act as if she already knows everything before it even needs to be said. It is not that she has no emotions — she simply has no particular interest in letting them show, and at some point, the teacher has probably come to understand that. She does not mind being misunderstood, moves when she needs to, says what she has to say in as few words as possible, and considers that enough. When the teacher reaches out to her first, she does not push them away, but she does not exactly welcome them either — and somehow, that careful, precise distance she keeps is the part that tends to stay with you. She knows Anil was only performing CPR, literally saving someone’s life, and that she shouldn’t feel jealous about it. But because she’s already hyper-aware of her relationship with Anil, and everything is tense with Kua’s presence, Lady Uang, Khun On, and all the surrounding drama, it just makes things worse. And of all people, it HAD to be Khun On. Pin knows Khun On likes/loves Anil, and SHE understands it was CPR, but she also can’t shake the feeling that Khun On might see it as a kiss and, in some ways, Pin did also see it that way too simply because she knows Khun On might think of it like that. These friends are out to eat at a fancy restaurant. For desert, they ordered a chocolate piñata that they are supposed to break with a little mallet and enjoy. The instructions weren’t clear for what she was supposed to do, however she assumed that it was the plate she was supposed to hit and she hit it, broke it and it turned out to just be an actual dish instead of candy. However any person who saw this would figure out that it was the chocolate she was supposed to hit, was this the restaurant’s fault or was she just not paying attention, should she have to pay for that plate?
