What Actually is PEPE Memecoin? Launched in April 2023 (a stealth launch, with no fixed announcement date), Pepe (Pepe) (ethereum:0x6982508145454ce325ddbe47a25d4ec3d2311933) is an Ethereum-based memecoin inspired by the Pepe the Frog internet meme. Unlike many crypto projects, PEPE was not introduced with a complex protocol or a major utility-focused roadmap. Instead, its identity is closely tied to internet culture, community activity, and speculation around memecoin markets. Here’s what you need to know about the memecoin: (1) It is built on Ethereum PEPE is an ERC-20 token issued on Ethereum, meaning it uses Ethereum’s existing blockchain infrastructure for transactions and transfers. (2) It is primarily a memecoin PEPE does not operate its own blockchain or provide a major decentralized application ecosystem. Its market appeal largely comes from the Pepe the Frog meme, online communities, and trading activity. (3) Its supply is extremely large, with no built-in transaction tax PEPE launched with a supply of 420.69 trillion tokens, giving it a very different unit price structure from scarce cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Its contract was also renounced shortly after launch, meaning no one, including the creators, can mint more tokens or alter the rules. (4) It gained attention quickly PEPE attracted major interest shortly after launching, becoming one of the most recognizable memecoins outside the original Dogecoin and Shiba Inu wave. (5) Community plays a major role Like other memecoins, PEPE relies heavily on social attention and community participation rather than traditional cash flows or protocol revenue. This makes its market behavior closely connected to sentiment, liquidity, and broader interest in memecoins. So, ethereum:0x6982508145454ce325ddbe47a25d4ec3d2311933 is essentially an Ethereum-based memecoin built around internet culture rather than a traditional blockchain utility model.

XRP holders can now borrow RLUSD on Ethereum without selling Flare's (Flare ☀️) FXRP has been approved as collateral in Sentora's RLUSD vault on Morpho 🦋, letting XRP holders convert to FXRP, bridge to Ethereum, and borrow Ripple's stablecoin while keeping their XRP exposure intact. The setup mirrors what WBTC did for Bitcoin in DeFi, and the teams call it the first time an XRP-based asset has cleared an institutionally curated Ethereum lending vault. Flare CEO Hugo Philion (Hugo Philion) says having an institutional risk team underwrite ripple:native as collateral beats another bridge listing. One of crypto's largest assets has spent years sitting idle. Plugging it into onchain credit is how that changes.

Introducing Open Beta of Superposition - the only way to earn yield on assets without depositing them anywhere. You create a (super)position by choosing a basket of assets. From that moment, your wallet behaves like an active market maker on Ethereum using that basket.

Internet Computer contracts can hold and spend Bitcoin without a bridge Smart contracts on DFINITY Foundation's Internet Computer, called canisters, can control Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana addresses outright, signing and submitting transactions with no bridge, wrapped asset, or oracle in between. ICP calls the design Chain Fusion. The trick is a private key that is never assembled. It exists only as secret shares spread across a subnet's nodes, and more than a third of which must cooperate to produce a signature. Contracts can request signatures but never see the key. Spending $BTC still works the Bitcoin way, with one signature required for every coin fragment used as an input, and $ICP's derived keys follow the same standards Bitcoin and Ethereum wallets already use.

Soon, $XLM will outperform Solana, Binance Chain, and Ethereum in distributed RWA value. I know that sounds bold while Stellar still sits in fourth place. But look at the direction, not just the rank. Direction is everything. The numbers tell the story. Ethereum leads with $16.3B but is DOWN 5.14% over 30 days. BNB Chain holds $3.9B, also down 3.08%. Solana grows at 8.15% with $3.0B. And Stellar? $2.3B and up 29.90% in a single month. Stellar is growing almost 4 times faster than Solana while the two biggest networks lose ground. The gap with Solana is now just $700M. At this pace, that gap closes fast. And the momentum keeps building. Over the past 30 days, Ethereum shed nearly $1.63 billion in tokenized RWAs while Stellar added about $810 million. A 63% jump, according to AMBCrypto data. The RWA race is no longer Ethereum's to control. This is what keeps standing out to me. Ethereum has size. BNB has scale. Solana has attention. But Stellar has acceleration. And in this sector, capital rotates toward the steepest growth curve. With DTCC connecting $114 trillion in custodied assets to Stellar by H1 2027, the acceleration we're seeing now is just the warmup. The institutions are choosing the network that's climbing fastest. The data already shows where this is heading. You ready for $XLM szn?

we hacked ledger. the OneKey Anzen team has successfully reproduced a transaction replacement attack against ledger ethereum app 1.22.1 in our lab. the bug is a race condition between the transaction display logic and the underlying transaction buffer. an attacker can overwrite the transaction waiting to be signed while the user is still reviewing a legitimate one. in simple terms: - you see transaction a on your ledger. - you approve transaction a. - your ledger can end up signing transaction b. - and you never see transaction b. to reproduce this, we built the 1.22.1 ELF ourselves, fixed the speculos reset 502 issue, and got the full attack flow working end to end. ledger fixed this in ethereum app 1.22.3. if you’re still on an older version, update it.

Five more votes and XRP holders can borrow onchain Flare ☀️ co-founder Hugo Philion (Hugo Philion) wants ripple:native holders to borrow RLUSD against their XRP on-chain using flare-networks:native smart accounts. That needs the Wormhole ethereum:0x8292bb45bf1ee4d140127049757c2e0ff06317ed bridge, which needs the "PermissionDelegation" amendment to be live. Support hit 24 of 35 trusted validators on Thursday, five short of the 29 needed. Voting opened August 12. An earlier version was pulled in 2025 after a flaw let failed transactions still charge fees.

Nobody can change the Pepe token contract, including the people who wrote it Ownership of the ethereum:0x6982508145454ce325ddbe47a25d4ec3d2311933 contract was renounced at launch and the liquidity pool tokens were burned. Nobody can mint new tokens, add a transfer tax, or pull the trading liquidity. Supply was capped at 420,690,000,000,000 in April 2023 and can only fall from there. Roughly 6.9 trillion tokens have since been burned, leaving 413.77 trillion. There was no presale and trades carry no tax. An immutable contract does not cover everything. Tokens set aside for exchange listings sat in a shared Pepe team wallet, and in 2023 roughly 16 trillion of them were moved to exchanges and sold without authorization. That wallet holds about 2.12 trillion PEPE today, worth around $7.2 million.

Vitaliks mandarin fluency is a super bullish signal for Ethereum 🐂 He had an open town hall at HK where community members asked him all sorts of questions, from the easy to the difficult The hard questions were all in Mandarin so i couldn't follow those 😅 At the town hall he laid out the guiding principle for Ethereum: cooperation without domination It's especially important in today's world where a powerful person dictates terms and others have to follow, or we have no cooperation & there's chaos What this means at a technical level is that Ethereums the world computer & we need to build enough trust that developers feel comfortable building apps on top of it. Solo staking, a conservative approach to changing the protocol etc are all part of this He also spoke on how new technology is a reset & creates a level playing field where the game starts again from zero with bringing a lot more people right to the frontier We are seeing this with AI (and zk too), where a noob developer can still catch up to a veteran with good prompt engineering. He shared his own experience of building an android app for the first time using AI despite having no prior experience in it Before people would say that EF needs to write more documentation. Now it's more relevant to show how deep seek integrations with solidity and Java can help easily create new Ethereum apps He sees AI as making it much easier for newcomers to build web3 apps & is making a push in this direction

Ethereum in 2026 → What you need to know. Today ETH price is $2,104 which is almost 57% down from its all time high of $4,954 in August 2025. Fear and Greed index stands at 28. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is approaching oversold conditions and retail interest is absent. However every on chain metric is hitting an all time high. - There are almost 35.5 million ETH staked. - Stablecoins on Ethereum have surpassed $158 billion. Tbh ETH exchange reserves are at their lowest since 2016. Spot ETH ETFs have attracted $11.6 billion in total net inflows. The network is more used, more secure and more embedded in institutions than ever yet the price remains in the fear zone. That disparity outlines the whole Ethereum narrative in 2026. - Pectra launched in May 2025 increasing the validator cap from 32 to 2,048 ETH. - Fusaka followed in December. - Glamsterdam is set for the first half of 2026 aiming for 10,000 transactions per second and over 78% reduction in gas fees through full account abstraction. - Hegota arrives in the second half with Verkle Trees pushing towards a stateless Ethereum. This upgrade pace is not slowing down. And the good thing is institutional side looks promising too. Ethereum Foundation staked 70,000 ETH in April 2026. This shift from selling ETH to fund operations to earning staking yield is significant. Yet there is an uncomfortable truth that many ignore → Layer 2 solutions like Base keep most fee revenue instead of returning it to ETH holders. Standard Chartered estimated that Base alone took $50 billion from ETH market cap. Increased Layer 2 activity does not directly translate to higher ETH value. So far this issue is unresolved concern underlying every optimistic outlook. The bullish scenario here is hinges on Glamsterdam delivering results, ETF inflows returning and the Federal Reserve lowering rates. and the bearish scenario suggests that Layer 2 value capture issue remains unresolved. Its crazy that the divergence between fundamentals and price is not a temporary dislocation but a structural issue. Right now the critical level to watch is $2,080. If it drops below that the bearish case becomes serious. Honestly fundamentals keep getting stronger while the price continues lagging behind. Next six months will determine which perspective will prevail.

SHIBA INU QUIETLY STACKING WINS Shiba (Shib) is approaching 3 million holders, with on-chain data showing 2.95 million wallets and a $3.76 billion market cap. Holder growth has accelerated in late April, and exchange netflows have turned sharply negative as more than 133 billion SHIB exits centralized exchanges, signaling accumulation rather than rotation. The 2026 story has been building all year. The SEC classified ethereum:0x95ad61b0a150d79219dcf64e1e6cc01f0b64c4ce as a digital commodity in March, paving the way for institutional access. T. Rowe Price included SHIB in a proposed Active Crypto ETF filing. Burn rate spikes have hit 800% in January and 276,545% in March, with cumulative burns now topping 410 trillion tokens worth more than $2.35 billion. Shibarium has crossed 1.5 billion transactions and rolled out the Shib Alpha Layer, a Layer-3 rollup framework that lets developers spin up custom rollups with TREAT staking. The Fully Homomorphic Encryption upgrade with Zama, scheduled for completion this quarter, will enable private smart contracts on the network, a feature almost no other meme coin can credibly claim.

Quant's Fusion Rollup turns seven copies of USDC into one asset A stablecoin like $USDC exists as separate, incompatible versions across chains such as Ethereum, Solana and Base, each with its own liquidity pool. Institutions holding it across networks manage seven balances rather than one. Quant's Fusion Rollup, live on mainnet since June 2, represents the same token as a single canonical asset inside one execution environment connected to 74 networks. Quant calls the unified versions uUSDC and uBUIDL, one asset with one pool of liquidity. Each asset keeps its anchoring to its origin chain and can be withdrawn back at any time. Quant describes the design as a Layer 2.5, since $QNT's rollup isn't bound to a single base chain.

Quant describes the design as a Layer 2.5, since $QNT's rollup isn't bound to a single base chain.
