The question I get asked the most about my process is "what blending mode/brush/auto action do you use to make the lines around some items". The answer is: I overline it by hand and color it on normal layer when I'm done ❤️🙏 +

In some areas (like in this video on the yellow dot, or by some edges) I remove pixels from the tiny spots by lowering my line's opacity and just using a bucket tool! 🥹 It's my 2nd favorite part of drawing (right after lineart LOL) even though it's time consuming. +

You know, it's okay if your art *is* time consuming. It's okay to take your time with it. Like, what else are you going to be doing with your time anyway, you're already drawing 🤷 try taking your time with the process and not rushing through it - it can be really fun!!!! ❤️

ALSO, THE TIMER!

*yes* it's possible to make this with a simple border effect, however I usually have my whole lineart on one layer, so if I wanted to use border effect it would force me to cut every item of interest first!

sweet grace where did you all come from

HI YES i do realize I can "simply" draw every element separately and just use border effect. YES i do realize i can just select the object I want to fill, expand selection, remove insides of the selection, fill it THANKS i still prefer to draw it like that, it's actually FUN! 😉
