The question is how does a person continue to have a relationship with a family member who is a Trump-supporting MAGA fascist? People in 1930s Germany were faced with the exact same conundrum involving Nazi family members who supported the mustache man.

Had a friend from work. In '21 she started grilling me, "How do you think Biden is doing?" "What do you think about CRT in schools?" I knew she voted for the cheeto. I thought Biden was fine. I knew 0 about CRT. She sneered & mocked me. Lunch ruined. Friendship ruined too. :-(

My son has sadly fallen into the MAGA cult. It is heartbreaking for me. We tried to have dialogue but the conspiracies he regurgitated left my head spinning. The cult are in an alternate reality. They reject everything that doesn’t align with their beliefs 😢

I ghosted my 2 closest friends in 2020. (Trump supporters) after they said terrible racist things. Trump gave them his blessing to be disgusting bigots.I’m in a minority group myself but I’m white so they let me be the exception. I haven’t spoken to them since.

Absolutely disagree 100%. Family relationships can survive different political affiliations- and they should.

Very similar to what I am dealing with….just imagine all the families, friendships that Trump has totally shattered……so sad…
