@TomSwarbrick1 Rubbish. I taught tough pupils for 35 years. The pupils need a time out… This is me viewing life from a different perspective…

@TomSwarbrick1 Teachers and students are shattered at the end of the term, and as the end of term approaches children start to become restless and unruly… that’s why terms are short. Go to the high performing private sector and you’ll find terms are even shorter.

@TomSwarbrick1 The man is ludicrous. Yes, vulnerable children need looking after, but there are meant to be social, community and health services as well as school. Schools can’t do it all! And has nobody told him there’s a recruitment and retention crisis? JFC
