I had one mid 80's not wanting to sound ungrateful but younger brother got a BMX and older ones drop handle racers the grifter was a proper Iron horse

Grifter used to take the skin off your thumbs changing gear Too heavy to wheelie, you just aimed at kerbs and it went over them

I had the Raleigh Striker in the 80s it was a good bike for me at the time it was a Great Christmas Present from my Parents, don't look like much now but back then it was wonderful.

Yea I had one in 1986, loved peddle back braking skids with my Spokey Dokeys. The bike weighed a ton.

I always preferred The Boxer… probably because I was too little for a Grifter

My first bike was a Strika. I had one of those yellow police sirens from Argos on it. I must have caused havoc in the park at the weekends. I was only 6!
