Local sources cited by Anadolu said RSF fighters, moving in dozens of combat vehicles, entered Abu Qamra, about 125 miles northwest of el-Fasher, an area previously held by the Sudanese army and allied forces. They said RSF forces also attacked Ambro, roughly 185 miles northwest of el-Fasher. In a statement, the RSF stated its fighters had “tightened control” over both areas and later posted videos on social media that appeared to show their presence there.
