Why don’t we hear as much about the Rapture as we used to? It’s still in the Bible, and it’s still a very important truth to believe. In case you don’t know, the Rapture is that event when Christ will call all true believers to meet Him in the air. As 1 Thessalonians 4 tells us, “We will be caught up in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, to meet the Lord in the air—and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” There are many benefits to believing in the Rapture, and I talk more about that in this video. Please take a moment to watch it before you comment.

In my view, the next major event on the prophetic calendar is the Rapture of the Church—that moment when Christ returns for His Church and we are caught up to meet Him in the air. As Paul writes, it will happen “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye” (1 Corinthians 15:52 NKJV). Some argue, “You can’t find the word ‘rapture’ in the Bible!” That’s true—if you’re only reading the English.
