the Ravens have a MASSIVE 2nd half problem #1 offense in the first half #32 offense in the second half they know how to get leads… but they don't know how to hold leads and it could end up costing them their season

Declan Doyle needs two scripts 1. his current first quarter script - change nothing, it clearly works and has built the #1 best offense in the NFL to start games 2. a new third quarter script - prepared in advance of the game, tweaked at halftime as needed, to stay aggressive playing the scoreboard has been a disaster and I don't think it will change later in the season - the Ravens offense needs 60 minutes of aggression if they want to win games because this isn't working

more Week 7 takeaways and early Week 8 preview:

that gap between first and second half rankings stands out. wonder if adjustments from opposing defenses are making the difference.

Anybody can just take 'em!

💯 now here’s a guy who got the reference 👏👏👏

OL issues have plagued the run game to some extent, but I'd be interested to see how these stats compare with and wo Lamar. Snoop rarely throws beyond 5–10 yards, so defenses can stack the box without worrying about getting beat deep, making it much easier to stop the run

those halftime leads don't mean much if they can't keep it together in the second half. wonder if they're focusing too much on the flashy first plays and not enough on steady execution when folks get tired

yeah that second half contrast keeps standing out. i wonder how much those halftime adjustments affect pacing and play selection even if they aren't changing the initial game plan

Probably cus we have Tyler Huntley running the system.

i'd look at which small detail helps them sustain drives into the second half. even a short third down can break a defense's rhythm sometimes.

It sounds like they’re really lacking leadership and accountability. Huh.

i wonder if their second half playcalling tries to protect leads the same way they built them. different situations might need a different approach

Leave the ravens alone!

that second half drop from best to worst shows in the plays too. wonder if the clock starts working against them after halftime

other teams must be adjusting well at halftime. wonder if the ravens staff could learn from sports where pacing yourself is everything

Is this a Tyler Huntley stat ? Just over the last 3 games as well ?

wonder if holding momentum comes down to reading adjustments vs chasing early success

The ravens this year
