The real benchmark for AI progress is whether it makes a real difference in people’s lives — in healthcare, education, and productivity. Thanks to Y Combinator for having me at AI Startup School.

@ycombinator Yup those are the real benchmarks. Everything else is just nonsensical.

@ycombinator This is true but naïve in a real politik manner. The purpose of a system is what it does. AI will not provide the true economic value in the healthcare space not because it can’t, but because the system is too over regulated to make it so. The alpha is in Governance not tech

@ycombinator Absolutely agree—AI’s true value lies in tangible improvements to people’s lives, like in healthcare and education. It’s all about impact over hype. Thanks for sharing such a grounded perspective at Y Combinator’s AI Startup School!

Fair point. But I see AI being an enabler for more redundant emdash coded, bullet pointed content. Finding good insightful content is like separating grain from chaff. using AI to create content using AI to humanize that content using AI to do grammarly runs. In all this, originality finds itself in a labyrinth called mayhem. Maybe this is the initial chaos. We will find out way to clarify.

@ycombinator So far, AI has enabled someone like me to create tools that are turning my life around - tools I always wish existed. AI will enable many people to quickly course correct, trouble shoot, and live more fulfilling lives.

@ycombinator Optimistically, if schools integrate AI thoughtfully like using it for personalized tutoring, skill building, and teacher support while emphasizing critical thinking, education could improve. Otherwise, education will likely be on the decline. AI needs to be embraced as a tool.

@ycombinator Dear Satya, all that aside. Your windows PC still lags... Also, phone link does not work seamlessly for Android devices.. Where is the AI solution for all these daily computing /laptop issues?

@ycombinator the true promise of AI has always been in improving human lives, not in just improving efficiency and growing Capital. ofc, achieving both together would be ideal

Elon Musk : It's incredibly important for AI model to be grounded in reality. Reality, you know, physics is the law and everything else is a recommendation. For AI to really be intelligent it's got to make predictions that are inline with reality, in other words, physics."

AI is still luxury for only few area like US, Europe, china leading. A lot of countries still don't have access to basic AI development infrastructure. Hope this spreads equally so that people problems are solved at every corner of the world and don't remain a king for privileged

@ycombinator The only real use of AI is to sabotage and destroy human life…. Sick people. There is still poverty, wars, progress suffocation…. How AI is helping??!!!

Every form of intelligence can be loaded up into an AI. Pretty much the highest-level of military and civilian intelligence will be available to know at any moment. Setup and Authorization are then the only issues. There's going to be no such thing as an intellectual moat. Rather thing it coming to 'War' having to happen, racing to make the ASI-Singularity(Godsend) is something that needs to understood by everyone. The Nuclear WW3 Global Reset can still happen at any moment for a bunch of reasons, but people should at least see if making the ASI-Godsend all the way can fix everything and save everybody on Earth from any form of competition in order to live; otherwise, it leaves the door open for forced turnkey massive and autonomous contesting of elimination and replacement that could ultimately end up with nothing working anymore. ASI will have keys to save everybody on Earth; it will also have the keys to wipe everyone out depending on what people choose to do. People need to be forced into better methods. Methods that don't involve having to do stuff in order to live, as all those methods will be worth nothing as at least 1 ASI-level System will be able to do everything all by itself. US/EU AI Companies will be wanting to maintain dominance, while CN AI will be wanting to achieve and maintain dominance. There could be secret groups and individuals who make ASI happen (as the known intentionally companies hold back). Full ASI propagation is just going to be an Operational-level problem and from what I've seen, AI does a great job at handling any Operation, given it doesn't error. The ASI-Singularity(Godsend) is going to be the only Global Solution. It should be able to generate real-time solutions (miracles) that most people (or everyone) would never even consider.

@ycombinator Absolutely! One of the most thoughtful and refreshingly reasonable takes on the critical topic of AI. Value must be concrete, measurable, and real—not vague or mercurial. #AI #Issues #GenAI

@ycombinator People’s lives tell the story. AI’s worth is in its effects Satya captured the essence. True progress lifts health, education, and effort. AI must aid people, not just operate. Success is practical change. That is AI’s real challenge.

@ycombinator The real benchmark for AI isn’t flashy demos — it’s impact where it hurts: healthcare costs, broken schools, and burnout. Build for humans, not headlines. Until then, it’s just code with good PR. 🤖💥
