The real Jesus will always be offensive.

Luke 12:51 "Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division." There is meant to be a divide. A divide between evil and good. There is no "tolerance" of evil.

The message of the gospel will always be offensive to those who love their sin. It will always be offensive to the unregenerate. Only the grace of God can remove hearts of stone and replace them with hearts of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26-27).

John MacArthur is a gift and a treasure…I’m so thankful for him and his ministry.

Is that anybody's experience? I didn't find Jesus to be offensive. When I met Him, He was compelling & forgiving, understanding & loving. I get the point - that the way of Jesus is contrary to the way of the world - but saying "Jesus is offensive" I just don't think is true

it seems to only be offensive to those who don’t believe.

Love John MacArthur

The Jesus that doesn’t care about sin, the one that use him as a genie in a bottle they call him Jesus but he’s not the real Jesus. He’s the one that’s not offensive to anyone.

have a question Is he talkin about SBC leaders who sold out the bodies & souls of kids & congregants, turned a blind eye to clergy rapes, and brutally mistreated #SBCtoo survivors... all for the sake of protecting 100s of millions of dollars, If he isn't does Jesus love them?

Matthew 7: 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Nope...he's only offensive to the disobedient. See 1 Peter 2:8
