Almost like the natural order wasn’t a mistake

We have solely relied on my income for more than half of our marriage. I never minded. My husband has built his company in the meantime, and knowing that we had a good income to fall back on was helpful for the peace of mind of the both of us.

It can't be said for many relationships . As people age some men may retire early and be a stay home or part timer while the woman becomes the bread winner for a few years before she can do the same.
