Goes even deeper than that Jeb McCaleb is your kingpin. Involved in starting XRP and XLM. Both ripple and stellar invested in stronghold. Jeb also sits on the board of advisors for Velo. All designed for the respective roles. It’s all one master engineered system.

Stellar doesn’t have the same infrastructure that ripple does. To scale up tokenisation for the DTCC, ripple brought metaco, Xrp will be the settlement layer. There is no comparison, Xlm will be for tokenisation but that’s it.

Long story short, it’s just a copy-n-paste version of the XRPL with a burnt supply.

One could say; XRP = Liquidity Breadth (B2B) and XLM is liquidity depth (B2C). When you think of it like this, there is a lot to be excited about.

If you had X amount to spend, would you purchase XLM or XRP? Both have big upside, but which is bigger?

It really depends on whether you already have any exposure in either of those already, if not, then I’d split it between the two or 1 of them to have a more concentration instead of spreading out too thin.
