“We know that Charlie was the first casualty of the Iranian war. He was in the way.” This continues to be one of her stupidest positions. Charlie was influential, and I grieve his loss everyday, but he wasn’t single-handedly stopping wars. Further, if we’re going on the premise that President Trump allowed Israel to kill Charlie in order to launch a war against Iran…why aren’t we boots on the ground? Why aren’t there hundreds of thousands of troops over there engaging in forced regime change and nation building? If they’re going to go so far as to murder Charlie in front of the whole world because his mere existence was apparently stopping wars, why didn’t they go all the way in Iran? Why isn’t Trump giving Israel the full might of American military?
