You know rice is harvested in a field right? You wash all your produce before eating it right? Asians wash rice before cooking it...

This is just infested rice stored open in an area with an infestation. Seal your rice and it will be fine. If you want to be 100% sure, drop a chunk of dry ice in the bottom of an air tight storage container with your rice, then seal it. The CO2 will kill anything.

What does it matter? It boils out when cooking right?

Mr Helpful's helpful tip of the day: These bugs you're referring too are called rice weevils. So if you are cooking rice at home, be sure to wash in a colander, boil, then pour back into the colander, once cooked to wash off everything including the starch if it's white rice.

if there's eggs then you need to ditch the brand. Rice made from the far east will never have that strictly because they are dried out in the sun then milled. That brand's factory is definitely contaminated or the vendor's shop is. In any case look for another brand.
