They have too much options, they feel they are better/bigger than certain things... All of these thoughts cripple them to the point of doing nothing

Very true.

Another brilliant submission👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿. But what exactly is "ultra-successful" because success means different things to different people, which is why Christopher Morley’s definition has always resonated with me: "There is only one success, to be able to spend your life in your own way, and not to give others absurd maddening claims upon it." Whatever success means to an individual, they should make sure it is their definition, not society’s prescription.

Sometimes also comfort and lack of action. Sometimes fear of failure Sometimes laziness or procrastination.

I totally agree with you on this. Many tend to tow the path of least resistance among the options, which leads to an ordinary life.

Also, Ore, education doesn't only give a person knowledge; it also makes them more aware of complexity, risks, consequences, alternatives, and opposing viewpoints. This awareness sometimes causes caution, hesitation or over-analysis.

I just feel educated people are so educated enough to know that ultra success is not a thing and should not be the goal for any human being. Just offer values, life comfortably and meaningfully, and exit in peace.

We all need to define success individually. In Nigeria and much of sub-Saharan Africa, success is often tied to financial power and material wealth. But success is relative. Ore, I don’t know your pocket, but based on the journey and story you’ve shared, I’d say you’re successful

Completely agree that the definition defers per person and very relative.

Yeah. Those options make taking business or entrepreneurship risks less attractive to them.

Truth be said There are only a few people who can build something successful. You cant be successful if you dont build!!! educated or not From building a career to building a business It all boils down to risk how much risk can you take? Are you willing to leave your comfort zone and start something so unsure?

Absolutely 💯, in fact as a graduate, so many can’t do some dirty jobs again because they’ll be like I’m a graduate

They overthink things a lot. Sometimes I wish I never knew things, overexposed to things. Educated/Intelligent people overthink things and cripple themselves with thoughts. Knowing too much is a bane.

No be lie at all; Jack of multiple trade leads to confusion of the mindset to decide, in the long run, you end up utilising a fraction of the abilities to someone less knowledgeable in it. The key advantage to build up one effectively before the commencement of tertiary studies
