Lowering credit card interest rates sounds like a good idea, but often times it ends up hurting the very people who policymakers were seeking to help. If interest rates are capped, the people who need it the most — high-risk borrowers who have low credit scores — will lose access to credit. Interest rates are largely dependent on the person who is doing the borrowing. The riskier a person is to lend to, the higher their interest rate is because the bank is taking on risk by extending them credit. People who are in desperate need of credit who will no longer be able to get a credit card then may turn to more expensive types of credit. This would also impact people who earn lots of rewards on their credit cards, have excellent credit scores, and payoff their balance every month so they don't pay interest. Credit card companies may cut back or cancel rewards and could start implementing annual fees on credit cards that never had them in the past or increase annual fees on existing cards.

After opening the American Express Gold Delta Skymiles card when I was 22 years old, I figured out quickly that these credit companies invented a game where they do not lose. Getting 2% cash back while paying double digit interest meant I was not winning. They were. We all open all these cards promising ourself, “I’ll never carry a balance. I’ll pay it off in full every month, get my rewards, and stick it to the credit card man! No brainer.” Oh, how idealistic that promise was, considering that 49% of people are unable to pay off their credit card bills every month. A not-so-fun fact is that credit card companies make most of their money from people who are struggling to pay their bills each month. They turn around and offer a tiny portion of that struggle money back to you so you can enjoy your free flight and some cashback, feeling like you beat the system.

Just withdrew cash using RedotPay Official card. Worked super smoothly. After receiving the card, I had to set a card PIN using the mobile app. While withdrawing, you just enter that PIN and the rest works like a normal debit card. One thing to note, there’s an extra charge since it’s treated as a foreign card. For my case, I withdrew ₹10,000 and got charged ₹200 (ICICI ATM). I guess this may vary depending on the bank. This is on top of the withdrawal amount, so total deducted was ₹10,200. Conversion came around 1 USDT = ₹89.80. Overall, pretty happy with it. Might make this my default way to withdraw cash from ATM. Btw, this isn’t a paid promo. Bought the card myself and just sharing my experience since this is new to me. Listen if you are a seller/flipper/business person in this hobby then don't be mad if a collector is just happy at staring at their cards all day...😂 Their price is their price and that’s ok 👌 The people that need a talking to are the fellow sellers/flippers/ business people who want to sell at 110% and buy at 75-80% ... I get it we all got to make our monies but if the ground rules are set at a table say best of luck and move on... there are plenty of people willing to work with you out there.

If you donated to OneBC you should probably be contacting your local police and demanding a criminal investigation of the allegations against Dallas Brodie. I say this because the email server for OneBC went down last night. Your personal information + credit card or bank account information could have been stolen. Nobody wants to wake up on Dec 26th, 2025 and find out their credit card is maxed out or their bank account is cleaned out because of identity theft. I know people who have gone through this and some of them went through hell to prove it was not them who ran up the charges on their credit card.
