Successful does not equate to wealthy, and many that are wealthy were not successful by THEIR efforts. Successful, as you call it, or wealthy individuals, are some of the cheapest people on the planet. A poor, elderly woman will graciously tithe far more than 10% of her income, compared to that of a wealthy person.

On a similar note - I’ve noticed that rich people are often called cheap when they don’t spend money in ways that others expect them to. Some workers or business owners will charge ppl different amounts based on their perceived wealth. A high character person will charge everyone the same

A few months back I bought too much Taco Bell and wasn't hungry anymore. I noticed a homeless guy walking by and gave him my burrito. I've never seen someone get so excited over a burrito, the guy was so happy. We really do take the small things for granted.

Let's break that mentality down for the people in the back. Entitlement mentality is the belief that one is entitled to special treatment or privileges without having to earn them. People with an entitlement mentality often have an inflated sense of their own importance and believe that they are better than others. They may expect to be treated with deference and respect, even when they have not done anything to deserve it. People with an entitlement mentality may also have a hard time taking responsibility for their own actions. They may blame others for their problems and refuse to admit their own mistakes. They may also be quick to anger or frustration when they don't get what they want. There are a number of factors that can contribute to the development of an entitlement mentality. These include: Parenting: Parents who overindulge their children or who do not set clear expectations and boundaries may contribute to the development of an entitlement mentality. Peer pressure: Children who are surrounded by peers who have an entitlement mentality may be more likely to develop one themselves. Social media: Social media can contribute to an entitlement mentality by creating a culture where people are constantly comparing themselves to others and feeling like they deserve more. Entitlement mentality can have a number of negative consequences. It can damage relationships, lead to academic or professional failure, and contribute to mental health problems. THIS PART: 👇 If you think YOU or someone you know may have an entitlement mentality, there are a number of things you can do to address it. These include: Become aware of your entitlement beliefs: The first step to addressing an entitlement mentality is to become aware of your own beliefs. Once you are aware of these beliefs, you can start to challenge them and develop more realistic expectations. Take responsibility for your actions: People with an entitlement mentality often have a hard time taking responsibility for their own actions. It is important to learn to take responsibility for your mistakes and learn from them. Develop empathy: Empathy is the ability to understand and share the feelings of others. Developing empathy can help you to see the world from other people's perspectives and to understand why they may not always give you what you want. Addressing an entitlement mentality can take time and effort, but it is possible. With hard work and dedication, you can change your beliefs and behaviors and develop a more healthy and positive outlook on life.

That was an excellent video Patrick. I learned that lesson a long time ago. I think it speaks to the new generation versus older established and those who have been around the block . I’m glad that you brought that up….good public service announcement for the day. Take note everyone! 😁
