The escalation by Ukraine on february 16 proves the SMO was an act of defence, not aggression, defending the Donbas republics and Russia itself. Allowing them to be fully subjugated by a regime that refused to accept neutrality was an impossible option.

It's always good to be reminded of facts. Living in Switzerland, I was so ashamed to have my country host this "Peace conference" knowing we also have Jacques Baud. I know he's retired but they could have consulted him. I know I'm dreaming but that's what I would have done.

Within the context of these facts, the conflict is even more dastardly than ever and is merely a horrendous loss of Ukrainian and Russian lives in a senseless situation. The Western paymasters are of course profiting from this, as always and people are dying as always.
