I’ve taken the #threejs water realism to the next level! Now with RGB distortion in the caustics, we get even more realistic, colorful light projections. The water movement has been improved to flow naturally, with optimizations for smoother performance. Plus, I’ve added a post-processing effect that simulates underwater distortion, complete with a dynamic waterline when the camera is partially submerged. Watch the awesome 4DGS plugin running in LichtFeld Studio that Shady Gmira has build. He uses ML Sharp together with the experimental embedded Python system to create a sequence of frames and play it back. With the next release v0.5 in a few weeks, Lichtfeld Studio will introduce a built-in Python scripting and one-click plugin system, giving users direct control over how algorithms run inside the editor. Reconstruction logic, densification rules, filtering strategies, or entirely new ideas can now be implemented and tested in the same environment used to train and inspect results. Stay tuned :)

Brembo’s Sensify Braking System is now in series production on vehicles from a major undisclosed global automaker. Sensify is a software controlled, fluid-free brake-by-wire system developed by Brembo. It uses no brake fluid. Instead, it uses electric actuators at each wheel, AI-driven software, and a pedal simulator to deliver customizable and precise braking without hydraulic fluid or a traditional master cylinder. Each wheel has its own motor that squeezes the pads onto the rotors (with redundant windings for safety). Coming soon! Someone requested a sleeved version of my exisiting controller asset a few weeks ago and with the timing and the new vtube studio native controller support, I decided it was time for an overall upgrade! I still have a few kinks to work through but I have huge respect for live2d artists working on a controller asset right now because the parameters ( along with the amount of things that go wrong ) are crazy with this one. Anyways so excited for all these new updates, stick to the end of the video to see all the customization options! Oh and this is with 0 camera tracking and best used with gyro controller! #live2dwip #vtubestudio

POV: you throw through the target. This might be the most underrated cue in baseball for increasing pitching velocity. It’s the idea of throwing through the target. Tom House did a study on this. He found that 80 percent of pitching velocity comes from separation and rotation. The other 20 percent comes from how well you track toward the target and direct energy through it. I made this mistake for years. I built a delivery where I would pull off. I tried to create power with rotation alone. What actually happened was I leaked energy sideways instead of directing it through the target. One of my favorite examples is Yamamoto. He doesn’t spin off. All of his energy is directed through and toward the target. He even finishes going forward. Everything goes through the target, not just rotation. Here’s the key. You still need rotation. That’s 80 percent of your pitching velocity. You can throw about 80 percent of your velocity from your knees because of rotation. But if you don’t direct that energy through the target, you’re leaving velocity on the table.

I already said the Ruger LCP Max was one of the best pocket guns on the market. And I meant it. But then Ruger and Magpul teamed up and dropped the LCP Max with the Magpul EHG grip module… and now I might have to take it back. Not because the original LCP Max got worse. Because this new version makes it feel like a rough draft. The LCP Max already solved the biggest problems with the old pocket .380 formula: better capacity, better sights, better recoil, and a gun small enough to disappear in your pocket while still giving you 13+1 rounds of .380. But the Magpul grip changes the entire feel of the gun. The texture, the traction, the extended grip, the way it locks into your hand — it makes this little pocket pistol noticeably easier to shoot and control. The original LCP was a “get off me” gun. The LCP Max became a “stay the hell away from me” gun. This new Magpul EHG version feels like the LCP Max finally went to the gym. So if you pocket carry, or you’ve been thinking about getting an LCP, this might be the one to put your hands on first. Because that grip might sell it all by itself.
