Duel spec should be a lvl 40 epic quest chain (or 20-30 ect) thats class specific. Having it cost gold along side the mount is a brutal hit for casuals.

love how you ignored and skipped the part where they point out that you don't really need dual spec to tank or heal a dungeon at the lower levels, a point clearly made for people like you.

30 is a good point for dual spec imo, having it before 30 doesnt make a lot of sense considering the poor amount of talent points we have only annoying thing is the respec cost being so high, especially while there is so many new things to test, but we wont be able to

I think is ok it being 30 no one gonna be able to afford it anyways lol, only the 0.1%, if you dont want a mount then maybe you save enough gold to buy it at 40. So kinda same thing...

Also depends on the cost. I imagine they’ll reduce the cost also if they reduce the level req, but I’d be happy with DS at 30

It should be available from level 10 tbh. This is just a qol feature that should be in the game. This is another concept that once again devs don’t know better, which is why forever needs polling like osrs does or the game will fail in the years to come. Let the players decide

i wouldnt mind it earlier but i think they should keep it at 50g pricetag, you should be making a choice whether you want to buy gear/save up for your mount or go for a dualspec

I love turning dual spec into a quest chain starting at 30. Instead of just paying gold have to do attunement line to get dual spec unlocked. Stops RMT for it and allows those that really want it at 30 to get.

They also say that you can heal/tank with your dps spec just fine, atleast up to a point. Which is true, from my experience. It gets annoying to heal especially if the tank is also not prot spec. But up til 40 is fine, but wouldnt care if it was 30 either so.

BRD is about when you have to start caring about your tank/healer being properly specced. prior to that, dual spec would just be vanity

There is a discussion to be had around dual spec, i dont think the level really matters as much as the price. It might have to be significantly more expensive than 50g, it gets rid of a permanent gold sink for most players in respecs

Dual spec should be given when dungeons start to be too difficult to be healed by a DPS without points on the healing spec, or a DPS cannot tank anymore without extra defense and only a shield.

Just unlock it with talents at level 10 and the dungeon spammers won't have any argument about dungeon exp nerfs like "Oh i cant quest in tank/heal specs"
