Eh, this was only in Game 4. Mike Bibby came right back with a “shot heard around the world” game winner of his own in Game 5 which put the Kings right back in the drivers seat with a 3-2 series lead. Then the refs stepped in for Game 6 and prevented a 4-2 series victory for Sac.

The majority of hoops fans think Tim Donaghy robbed the Kings. But as a kings fan, I can assure Donaghy didn’t ref a single game of in that series. The main two refs that rigged game 6 (as told to by David Stern to extend the series to a game 7) was Dick Bavetta and Bob Delaney.

Many nba fans mistakenly think this Horry shot ended the Kings. But this was only in game4. The kings actually came back with a game winning shot of their own in the very next game and won game5 by one point and went up 3-2 in the series. Horry’s shot didn’t win the series. #Refs

Tim Donaghy was definitely guilty for his crimes but he was also telling the truth about what other refs like Dick Bavetta were doing. He said Bavetta would openly brag to other refs about how he’s “the league’s guy” and shit. Bavetta robbed the Kings from the 2002 title.
