@piersmorgan Muslims all over the world are violent terrorists. Don’t give us this bullshit about “occupation.” There’s no “occupation” in London, look at those filthy Islamic cockroaches there.

Come on @piersmorgan - you are a smart guy. Who was “occupying” them in Gaza until 1967????? It was Egypt then. Who was “occupying” them after 2005 when Israel left Gaza completely? I so wish you would allow for actual, intellectual discussion and debate on your show. And not just a bunch of talking heads from both sides. Let’s actually talk. Are you in?

The root cause is that ideologically fueled irresponsible Islamist leaders refuse to accept Jewish self-governance and indoctrinate each new generation to believe the same. The root cause is that these evil Islamist terrorist leaders concocted a battlefield that would force Israel to have collateral victims if they were to attempt to bring them to justice for their crimes against humanity. THE ROOT CAUSE IS THAT PEOPLE ACROSS THE PLANET AND THOSE WITH A PULPIT REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS IS WHY THIS IS HAPPENING. Piers, your whole notion of a proportionate response demonstrates a morally bankrupt point of view. War is not a game of cops and robbers. It’s not a game of “we got some of yours and you got some of ours….till we meet again…” It’s about accomplishing the war goals that are in place to prevent future threats. It is simple and sick to think otherwise. You have to understand this, which makes me question your recent re-evaluation of the conflict.

If the “occupation” was the “root cause” of the “problem” why pre 48’were Arabs massacring Jews? Why post Hamas elections were Hamas murdering Jews? The restrictions only came into Gaza as a result of the murder of Israelis. Whilst I don’t for one second dispute how horrific the war is - again this is an example of revisionist history…. The “occupation” was and always has been nothing more than an excuse to kill Israelis.

@piersmorgan Did you ask him what was the root cause in 1964 when the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Org) was founded? Liberation from what? There was no occupation back then. Better yet, ask him what was the root cause in 1929, when hundreds of Jews were slaughtered by Arabs in multiple cities

The Jews cannot OCCUPY their ancestral homeland. There is NO OCCUPATION. Why can't anyone push back? Israel is a state recognized by the UN. The Jewish people who have lived their continuously and the Jewish people who returned from exile after 2000, after a Holocaust, bound together, they all relearned Hebrew and built a state in just 4 years. It is a miracle. What is wrong with the world? If the Arab Palestinians would have accepted the division, they would have had most of the land (TransJordan - all Palestinian- was divided along with Israel and Arab Palestine).

@piersmorgan The root cause is the fact that Palestinians refuse to accept that the Jews have a country. They have a zero-sum mentality: it’s either us or the Jewish State. So, you can also claim that the root cause is that the Jews don’t want to die.

@piersmorgan Oh really? Was anyone occupying the Brussels Airport? The Bataclan? Manchester Arena? Our Euro Xmas markets? Our churches in Europe? Should I go on?

@piersmorgan You hardly challenged the guy. Barely interrupted him. A marked contrast with your interaction with the Israeli minister a few minutes later.

Best way of stating you have no idea about the history of the area or are deliberately lying. One or the other. BOTH Israel and Palestine were offered a country. For some strange reason, the man who sided with HITLER during WW2 and literally called for the death of the Jews, didn't want that deal (Grand Mufti). It was rejected. They (Arabs), launched a war from 5 armies. They lost. Losers don't dictate who owns land they tried to CONQUER, not 'own'. Both Jews and Arabs have been in the area for thousands of years. There is no occupation. Just one side being a bunch of sore losers and playing on the heart strings of useful idiots to win a propaganda war.
