The rub of the green

😂😂😂 I was waiting for Rob Green

I never realised how many nonsense colloquialisms there are in football 🤣🤣🤣

"Rub of the green" "Rubber the green" "Robert the Green" "Rob Green"

Fantastic. Was hoping for Rob Green

BRITISH, OLD-FASHIONED In an activity/sport, the rub of the green is good luck. This expression probably comes from golf or bowls. The `rub' is the direction in which the grass is bent when it is cut, which affects the movement of the ball.

Lovely payoff. 🤌

Love how Tony Adams opens this. Remember him saying it the most. 👏🏻

Rob Green at the end 😂

These videos were funny at first. Now you’re just flogging a dead horse and should quit whilst you’re ahead.
