Rupert Lowe has launched the threat of a private prosecution against Nigel Farage which, if successful, could result in the imprisonment of the Reform UK leader. I have obtained the extraordinary letter sent to Farage on June 1. It is an escalation of the warfare between the Restore Britain leader and his former party boss. But sources close to Lowe tell me he remains open to peace talks with Reform UK for the good of the country. A Reform UK source responded: “How can we take his offer of talks seriously when all he does is send legal letters and constantly try to use lawfare against us.”
