According to a soldier of the 810th Marine Brigade, the murder took place on December 21, 2024. He said that the Russian army took two Ukrainian soldiers prisoner. One was severely wounded in the leg, and another one was tied to a tree by a marine and then taken "for evacuation." Upon his return, he received an order to shoot the wounded POW.
