Peter Obi rigged the 2023 presidential election in the Southeast and Lagos. As an Obidient in 2023, I know enough to tell you that Peter Obi and his Labour Party rigged heavily in the Southeast through underage voting and mass thumb printing on unused ballot papers. You cannot even dare to vote for APC in the Southeast because you will be seen as an enemy and treated like one. People stand around the thumb printing booths to ensure you are voting for Peter Obi. The Igbos were ruthless in 2023. In Lagos, there was an urge and desire to win at all costs, so there was a massive push that saw many Igbo INEC officials deployed to the state. This gave the Labour Party access to election sensitive materials like ballot booklets. Even if they could not win the election, they just wanted to win Lagos to stamp their claim that “Lagos is a no man’s land.”

I’m a co-sponsor of the SAVE Act and fully support the bill. In Kentucky, we require a photo ID and in-person voting, with paper ballots—so we’ve already addressed most issues. Other states should do the same. I support the SAVE Act, but states should act too.
