Yet, you don't know anything about election, neither do you know about democracy. Unfortunately, you'll scream and scream, all to no avail. Whoever they imposed on you will become your governor for the next 8 years. The governor will loot and loot until he has nothing left to loot. After he's done, he'll give it to his friend who will further lower the bar, begin to loot what the predecessor considered worthless and a waste of time. And on and on it goes. That's why past governments are always better than the current. That's how democracy works (if you care to know). Africans have a strong desire to act stupid, that's why they're 500 years or more behind their former western colonial counterpart from the other regions of the world. Just for context, you won't believe that Nigeria got their independence 5 years before Singapore. Singapore has the strongest passports in the world. If you do further research about Singapore, you'll be amazed at the other things they're best in. As a group, we're very, very stupid. Until we stop being stupid (which personally, i don't believe it's possible at least in my lifetime), ingesting everything that's thrown at us verbatim ( democracy, monogamy, religion, education ) without first finding out if its right for us and/or how we can customize these things to fit into our unique circumstance such that they'll drive economic development, we'll continue to retrogress while countries and former western colonies continue to advance while we stare from a distance like it's magic.
