4? The circumference of the path followed by the centre of circle A is 2 x π x (R + R/3) = 2π•4R/3. The circumference of A is 2π•R/3. The first number divided by the second is 4.

The answer is 4

The answer is 3!

I don't know the answer but the chances of everyone get it wrong is 0... this I am sure.

🥲

I was told if you don't know, go C

@grok this question in which year was came?

This question still floats around tests as late in hs as 2005 (especially pre sat) and then moved on to teas for nursing, baby bar practice official. Seen it many times. I very similar answer in 2013 had to be retracted ACT/SAT/california entrance exams.

对我来说太难了

If r1=2 and r2=6, with pie=3.14, then the answer is 3. How is this wrong?

5

Everyone couldn’t have gotten it wrong—

I think the answer is 3.33?

The issue is the answers... Not sure 4.5 but 3 def wrong seems in between so I gonna say its a false question
