The old "calm down" thing spread across football games even when Liverpool/Everton/Tranmere werent playing away games. I was at Norwich v Port Vale in 1995.Lots of Canary fans standing up doing the hand thing whenever Vale fans contested a refs decision. Burslem isnt Merseyside.

Did you own one of these cheap plastic footballs that flew off if you played on a windy day. They also made a funny "pang" noise when kicked hard, i seem to remember.
