The SEC should have never left CBS

The CBS intros (and not just the music) puts ABC to SHAME

CBS left the SEC. But they definitely want that decision back. ABC/ESPN is crushing the ratings.

For me the audio mix between the booth and on the field was the absolute best on CBS. And if you were the 3:30 game, you knew your team was relevant and going to be showcased.

CBS should have picked up big 12 instead of competing for big 10 games with nbc and Fox

CBS with an all time bag drop … could’ve had Vandy-Alabama, Texas-Florida or or Mississippi State-Texas A&M this weekend… Instead, they have UCLA Penn State

This has nothing to do with CBS and everything to do with how awesome that game was. When we were on CBS everyone on this app bitched and moaned about Vern Lundquist and Gary Danielson

Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson think this every Saturday as they’re covering either Purdue vs Illinois or Ohio state vs Rutgers.

Their loss though. I feel like ESPN/ABC is doing a nice job and we got out before Gary got too old. We were already down Verne.

It just doesn’t feel the same man they keep giving cbs the most lamest big ten games Atleast next week we’ll have Indiana @ Oregon so I’m optimistic for that

Also CBS had some of the best openers to SEC College football. Gives me goosebumps.

The SEC didn’t leave them… CBS left them and thought the new contract wasn’t worth the investment and then they ended up paying more for the Big 10 then they would have the SEC

CBS fumbled it tbh. They weren’t willing to pay more per year when Texas and OU were announced to join the conference.

They just couldn’t afford to pay what ESPN / Disney could. I am sure CBS would have loved to keep that game but just got outbid.

CBS ripped off the SEC for years. Anyone who says they preferred the SEC on CBS doesn't understand basic economics.

CBS just doesn’t hit the same with the big 10. They don’t even get the biggest games yet they do the best job. Money talks though
