The second time the reporter asked the same question, Leavitt should have told her that the answer has already been provided and the way she is framing the question is misleading and confrontational and if she continues to do that she will no longer call on her for any questions.

Ghislaine Maxwell pleaded the 5th Amendment today and refused to answer questions because the President is waving a pardon over her head. She is already a convicted criminal. She should not be allowed to plead the 5th. Her Habeas petition doesn't change that. And in no way she should ever be pardoned. I call on the President to firmly commit to never pardoning her. The victims deserve justice.

The high regard that she holds herself in by virtue of the question itself. But her behavior and subtle admission belies her denial / deflection. She has the obligation to remain focused on midterms, and “not on our individual aspirations or plans”. Well, there’s your answer. Is anyone else becoming at least slightly concerned over the health and mental well-being of Senator Dianne Feinstein? Feinstein, who is 89 years old, had been absent from the Senate for quite some time. After she returned, Reporter Benjamin Oreskes (below) asked her a series of questions. She was asked about the well-wishes that she had received since returning last week. She responded, “What have I heard about what?” The reporter said, “About your return.” Feinstein replied, “I haven’t been gone. You should… I haven’t been gone. I’ve been working.” The reporter then followed up, “You’ve been working from home is what you’re saying?” Feinstein replied, “No, I’ve been here. I’ve been voting. Please, either know or don’t know.” I am concerned as an American that it’s possible that Feinstein (and others in the Senate for that matter) may not be mentally fit to be voting on our country's laws. I do, however, want to give her the benefit of the doubt. She is older, and may have misheard the questions. With that said, my question to everyone here on Twitter is: Should there be a system in place to make sure that our Senators and Congresspeople are mentally fit to hold office? If so, what would a system like that entail?
