China leveraged cheap labour, then the US-China relationship soured and companies moving out of China didn’t come to India. India has cheap labour, but it is unskilled—in some cases worse than that, because it is disruptive. Save your breath and look for a way out of that hellhole. You have no idea of the amount of power and water resources it’s going to consume, plus the pollution. The scale a single 1 GW data center consumes would be enough to power millions of homes—forget about the pollution.

We as Indians don’t own those Technologies and have to work as labourers for them in our own country 🤦‍♂️. The will build GCCs and own them in India 🇮🇳

Data centres add little employment but proportionately drain a lot of resources in terms of electricity and specially fresh water. They need fresh water to cool it. Hence, nations are not inviting these as they will only deplete resources and not add any real value

This what I already said they have nothing to do with technology sharing with India. AI needs real time training and their is only one country with cheap internet access+cheap labour+ million AI training bots which is India.
