If Texas can’t manage its schedule that’s their problem, not Tx Tech’s. Texas and the SEC made the decisions to poach/leave the Big 12 so everything they’re complaining about is their own fault. But now they seem to want special treatment from the CFP and punishment for BYU and TT for issues they caused. That’s BS and I hope the @CFBPlayoff doesn’t cower to them. The ‘Strength of Record” metric takes into consideration both performance and schedule strength and creates an objective ranking. That objectively is fair, but the SEC demanding subjective favoritism isn’t. Texas gets lots of extra money from being in the SEC plus more chances for a CFP bid. They don’t deserve and shouldn’t get even more opportunity than that.

The problem is the SEC propaganda gets the SEC a lot of love, even though their teams don’t deserve it. That’s the problem, and everybody knows it.

SEC poached Arkansas from the SWC and TAMU and Texas from the Big 12, and then complains about how unfair it is that they have such a competitive conference. Bruh…….quit stealing top quality teams fron other conferences then…

I think the tantrum heard down in Destin, Florida this past week was heard loud enough in Provo, Utah. While the @SEC has the branding power, $$$ and media adoration, they still must compete with Big 12 programs in the transfer portal & NIL options. The coddling ends here!

Here’s a brief memo: We don’t give a shit about the BIG12. Texas and Oklahoma fans are happy as hell they get to play SEC schools because IT’S FUN to go to huge sold out stadiums with hot chicks and compete against other great schools with NFL talent.

The SEC is okay losing the NC to Michigan or Ohio State. Indiana winning it (over an ACC team while the SEC watched from home) was a bridge too far and indicates to them that the system must be broken in some way.

I think it’s more than time that we all just admit the SEC isn’t what it used to be. The playing field has considerably leveled out now. Blue bloods need to face reality.

Growing up in the late ‘60’s to mid- 80’s, CFB was a nat’l game. As a non-SEC grad, the domination in all but what 5-6 ACC NC’s wasn’t good for the game; generally only SEC fans egos at the majority of schools that have never won anything in terms of NC’s. Catch up and shut up.
