@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 The FIFA site calls for significant impact. That was not significant. A sensor isn’t detecting a ball glancing someone’s hair.

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 That take is so disingenuous, so if they have a sensor why they never explained how it works and on the reply they didn’t zoom in so people could if the ball touched the croacian player. That’s all crap people be accepting stuff without questioning just because they it’s techno

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 Interesting is the sensor shows hair of matanovic but not clear contact of defender….. strange isn’t it? Clear robbery!

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 This wasn’t the first time in this tournament WTF have y’all been doing? It’s your job to know this wtf

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 No, this isn't the first time we have seen this at this World Cup. Who are these supposed experts @CBSSportsGolazo ?

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 Just see this bunch of fools, of its Messi they'd be crying rigged robbery. 🤡

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 Where on earth do you get such misinformed anlaysts???? The Snicko Tech has been used even in the last WC in Qatar 2022 and it was also used this WC in other matches like Sweden vs Tunisia, why lie if you don’t know shit?

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 Why didn’t they tell him he kept mentioning Veiga as if he was the Croat? It’s too fucking late/early in Europe rn for me to bicker but this did my head in.

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 They said they saw this for the first time at the World Cup when they used the same sensor for Sweden's goal against Tunisia in the group stage. Take their fraud asses out of the analyst role.

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 I agree the founders of the game never intended to that level. #PORTCRO Portugal 🇵🇹 Vs Croatia 🇭🇷 VAR is the most #just, but #cruelest thing to ever happen to the beautiful game. Sometimes JUST is UNJUST; especially on games like football ⚽️ #FIFAWorldCup ⚽️

Has VAR become the guarantor of accurate outcomes, or does it just reduce errors? Placing our hopes on flawless technology is hopeful at best, ignorant at worst. The sooner we accept that football will always have an element of human fallibility even with technology the less frustrated we will be.

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 Why does he keep mentioning Veiga? The defender touching the ball in this situation is absolutely irrelevant, once the attacker touches the ball his teammate that ends up with the ball is offside.

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 This just shows the Quality of CBS sports Pundits. The same technology was used in the WC in Qatar. I guess you weren't paying attention or weren't watching "Soccer" then 😅

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 There was no need to call the referee to make the decision.

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 Except it can’t be ruled out it was just grazing the hair in which case you can’t call it offside

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 fake sensor, they dont have the referee go look at goal line tech the tell him and we move on. They even showed a fake graphic that doesnt show the touch off the defender on the radar

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 The sensor was proof that the ball actually touched Renato Veiga for those of you who claim not to see

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 that graphic of the sensor is BS. where is the rest of the information from the play and why doesnt it show it hitting the defender also. If a hair doesnt change the direction of the ball its not offsides. FIFA cant even get its rules correctly.
@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 What are you talking about? This sensor technology has been in the game and balls used by Adidas for a few years…. You gotta be kidding me Golazo, who do you invite there? I miss @bonetti and the crew.

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 The ball contains a motion sensor that detetcted the wind generated by the proximity of the player. I'll trust my eyes. Thanks.

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 And these are serious football and world cup comentators that say that this is the first time in this tournament this was used? Sweden Tunisia, checking for Isak’s touch of the ball…

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 Fuc.. your sensor

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 If we are letting a manipulated microchip technologies determine the outcome by a single hair, FIFA not good

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 Chris, if you’re gonna call it a “granular detail”, you should probably get the players name right. Viega is the defender. The touch by 20 in blue creates the offside. 🤦♂️

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 Get some information first before educating others, these so called pundits are so annoying

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 Sensor has time syncing issue and delay by seconds. There was only one wave recorded which was definitely the headed from the Portuguese player.

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 💔

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 Then why did the ref go to VAR if the sensor shows there’s there was a touch on the ball, in a split second the ball hits a Portugal player

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 14 minutes of extra time…

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 10 years ago that would of been ruled offside as player was clearly offside. Soon as ball was launched. Plus referee should have blown end of game 101 minutes as he allowed 10 minutes plus Portugal goal celebration 1 min.

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 It isn't the first time we've seen it at.the tournament AT ALL.

@ChrisWittyngham @marcelobalboa17 Extraordinary b#ll#x- these technologies that are unsee-able determining matches are too much! They always seem to work in favour of the more marketable teams as well! More technology & less football is not the answer IMO, this is the most technically invasive tournament eve
