I've said this before and I’ll say it again —there’s no such thing as “Somali-Ethiopian” or “Somali-Kenyan.” These are false, colonial-era identities created to uproot or disconnect the people from their ancestral native homeland. Somalis in Somalistate and NFD are simply Somali by nationality and identity. No extra label is needed. In your own country/land, you are simply who you are. Identity is tied to geography; your nationality should reflect your ancestral connection to the land, not the artificial borders created by colonial powers.
