Yes, we saw Jonathan's shortcomings but Jonathan was far better than Buhari. That was and is still the argument today. Tinubu is not doing well and it's known to even Tinubu's supporters and the issue before the ADC is not about who can win the primary election but who will do better than Tinubu.
