In the Christian New Testament, specifically in the Gospel of John, Jesus makes a statement about being the way to God the Father. Here's what he says in John 14:6 (NIV): Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

The rapture was invented around 1830 by John Nelson Darby, and is unbiblical, but suitable for a cartoon entertainment perhaps. "As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." Those who were taken were the unrighteous. Those who were left behind were Noah and his family.

The rapture is the 2nd coming of Christ not a secret chamber coming. If Jesus himself and the apostles suffered, the primitive church throughout the dark ages under heavy yokes, and even today in countries were the gospel is not freely practiced. Tribulation is coming.
