‘The Sims’ launched 26 years ago today.

26 years later and I’m still accidentally setting the kitchen on fire!

I wished EA never acquired Maxis. They drained their entire resources and took all of the game developers and game designers and then bankrupted them to save money. That’s why SimCity ended up fading away. Sim Safari, Sim Copter, & Streets of SimCity never had a chance either

Sims 3 is my favorite. I wish EA would give us Sims 5 rather than milk Sims 4 because “players don’t want to lose all their progress” like no shit we will lose our progress. It’s a new game.

I was 30 when I 1st played it My Dad died 25 years ago this month, went to my Sisters for a week in the summer she was playing Sims, in Sept our wedding anniversary Hubby got the base game and 3 EPs Hot Date had just come out, I spent hours playing and still do! All of them!

I had an infant when this came out. I was playing SimCity at the time. I switched games & have never looked back. TS2 was my favorite, but TS4 is fun too. Would LOVE a TS5 atp. I want the best stuff from each iteration... & spiral staircases!

Owned The Complete Collection of the first game, used to play it until the discs were wearing thin. so glad I got the Legacy Collection now to relive those glory days.
