After many weeks, World Central Kitchen teams are once again serving warm meals and fresh bread in Gaza. Our mobile bakery is baking again and you can see what it means to people...to eat, to feel seen. But these meals are not yet enough. We need sustained aid access. Many families are still hungry. WCK is built to reach them, to meet the need….and we've shown that since the beginning of the war in Gaza. With both our large field kitchens and our community kitchens, we can feed many, many families, if we can safely get ingredients to our teams.

Today we arrived To 4 million meals in Valencia World Central Kitchen with the help of hundreds of volunteers, chefs, restaurants, drivers etc…we keep delivering hot meals and sandwiches but also food boxes door to door and also helping open fruit shops, markets to expedite the local economy recovery…#ChefsForValencia we keep doing 18k meals already made a day plus over 100k meals through the food boxes…so people that can cook at home!

Today I visited many kitchens of World Central Kitchen in Gaza. This one is in Rafah! This one is with our great partner Anera doing thousands of meals a day…plus delivering our food kits to thousands of families a day. Situation in the south is tense with thousands leaving in temporary tent “cities” and the frontlines less than 6 km but real crisis is in the north where people are leaving in terrible conditions, surrounded by fighting, no water and no food and barely enough working hospitals….#ChefsForGaza but more humanitarian aid must be coming in, We can not stop helping the people of Gaza…WCK and partners we’ve already done and deliver 12 million meals…

Shadi is at WCK’s Mawasi Field Kitchen where our teams were able to resume cooking today, three weeks after we were quickly forced to evacuate. Thanks to several days of hard work from our maintenance team, Damian’s Kitchen is up and running again. We served more than 30,000 hot meals on our first day back, supplementing the tens of thousands of meals we are already distributing daily from our Deir al-Balah Field Kitchen to families in need. #ChefsForGaza

Sam Bloch with World Health Organization (WHO) UNICEF UN Humanitarian has been for the last few days getting to hospitals in Gaza City…here the conditions are dire.There is desperate need for food &water in hospitals, and for everyone…is one thing getting food into Rafah in the south but in northern Gaza is much harder. Incredible work the WCK team & all these partners are doing everyday, we will keep expanding more kitchens, bringing more meals to reach everyone we possibly can. #ChefsForGaza

The Kitchen was built with support from WCK partner Dollar General—it's custom-designed to access hard-to-reach areas efficiently with large-scale outside cooking.
