An entire game about avoiding and deterring the slime through various dungeons and forgotten ruins would be fantastic. The slime could pickup/consume different objects alter their abilities which could add an additional layer to where you explore and where you retreat to.

Nothing can stop the power of friendship (or desire to dissolve human flesh and bone for nutrition?)

Freaky. How do you have it dynamically changing shape through the trees?

it’s really just a bunch of spheres. so all i’m doing is simple collision resolution between the spheres and the trees, and then the shape of its “body” is the smooth union of the sphere SDFs. the sphere positions/collisions all happen on the cpu, everything else is a shader.
