That’s a juvenile black bear. If one of them had raised their arms and yelled he most likely would have ran away. Grizzly bears and polar bears would be a different story.

Bear looks to be about 3’7” standing up. When he leaned in I’d have hooked that MF for a DDT.

People should know black bears are the most friendly bears and a lot of encounters end in nothing more than being scared
