This was not some rogue typo buried in a web article. David Wade was the only reporter Chris Albert didn’t go after. He stated that investigators had Ring doorbell video of the incident and that Karen Read’s car had been impounded the very next day before anyone had retrieved Ring footage from anywhere. One does have to wonder… If investigators told the media on day one that they had Ring doorbell video of the “incident” and had already impounded Karen Read’s car …what was the intended effect? Because statements like that don’t just inform the public they apply pressure on a suspect who hasn’t been indicted yet a defense team still trying to understand the evidence, a narrative forming before facts are verified In other words, the kind of pressure that makes people think about pleading.
